Algonquin Logging Museum캐투버 2026-07-25

Algonquin Logging Museum

While camping in Algonquin, I visited the Logging Museum located at the end of Route 60. The Algonquin Logging Museum is an outdoor-focused museum designed to allow visitors to experience the history of logging in Algonquin Park as if they were actually on site. It recreates the evolution from the early timber industry to modern forest management along a 1.5km walking trail, where visitors can see old logging camps (campbus camps), steam-powered 'Alligator' boats, various equipment, and living spaces firsthand. At the entrance, a short video introduces the logging history of the Algonquin region, and since all exhibits are naturally placed within the forest, it is known as a place where you can enjoy a light walk and a historical experience at the same time. I recommend this place to families with young children.

While I was away camping, another instance of taxpayer money waste by a Korean-American politician 캐투버 2026-07-25

While I was away camping, another instance of taxpayer money waste by a Korean-American politician came to light. Since I was camping in a place with no internet access, I only found out about it after returning home. Assuming you are already aware of the facts through various media outlets, I will discuss what kind of person he is. I will also report on the news that Canada has become involved as an observer nation in the development of 6th-generation fighter jets, and that President Trump has decided to impose a 50% tariff on certain Canadian products

The Unhealthy Korean Jingoism Surrounding Hanwha’s Loss in the Canadian Submarine Bid캐투버 2026-07-25

The Unhealthy Korean Jingoism Surrounding Hanwha’s Loss in the Canadian Submarine Bid

The reactions of Koreans to this are preposterous. Some claim that Canada is deeply regretting the decision to eliminate Hanwha, while others say officials are in a state of mental breakdown and that national defense and the economy are on the verge of collapse. On what grounds do they make such claims? The situation on the ground is absolutely not like that. That is only the case for the few companies that signed production MOUs with Hanwha, but those that partnered with TKMS are rejoicing with great expectations. The government is also regretting that it did not decide on Hanwha, but it is not regretting it. Pride in one's country is good, but excessive pride is a disease

Canada Yields to Trump's Threats The Gordie-Howe International Bridge is a new international bridge connecting Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and Detroit, Michigan, USA. This bridge features a beautiful cable-stayed bridge structure spanning the Detroit River. With a main span (distance between pillars) reaching a staggering 853 meters, this bridge holds the record as the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America. It was named after Gordie Howe, a legendary Canadian ice hockey player who played for the Detroit Red Wings. After extensive preparation and negotiations, it is scheduled for official opening on July 27, 2026. Once completed, the bridge is expected to alleviate the severe congestion concentrated on the existing Ambassador Bridge, dramatically accelerating the flow of logistics and trade between the United States and Canada.

Goderich - Once Called the Most Beautiful Town in Canada캐투버 2026-07-25

Goderich - Once Called the Most Beautiful Town in Canada

Garderich is a small lakeside town located on the eastern shore of Lake Huron in Ontario. Thanks to the calm lake and the terrain opening to the west, the sunsets here are exceptionally beautiful. At the center of the town is a plaza called "The Square," designed with an octagonal structure. Shops, cafes, and old buildings surround this uniquely shaped center, creating a cozy atmosphere characteristic of a small town. The reason Garderich earned the nickname "the most beautiful city in Canada" stems precisely from the harmony between its nature and urban structure. The red evening light spreading over the lake, well-maintained streets, and gardens and greenery consistently tended by local residents combine to leave a deep impression on visitors. Three beaches are connected at the western end of the town. Main Beach, St. Christopher's Beach, and Rotary Cove Beach all feature clean sandy beaches and wide boardwalks, making them ideal for walks, and they are popular destinations for families during the summer. Walking along the beach, you will come across the Beach Street Station Restaurant, a restored former railway station built in 1907 that has established itself as a local landmark where you can enjoy a meal overlooking the lake. To the north of the city, the Menesetung Bridge spans the river; now used as a promenade, it is a beloved viewpoint offering simultaneous views of both the river and the lake.
